Airdrie, Alberta – The Airdrie Children’s Festival Society (ACFS) is excited to announce their dates for 2020. Happening May 30 & 31, the society is excited to host another two-day event. “For 2020, we will be growing from the successes from out first two years,” says Tara Levick, board member on the ACFS. “Watch for some changes and exciting new things coming for 2020.”
The Airdrie Children’s Festival was created to enrich the lives of children and celebrate cultural difference. Each aspect of the festival has a component to inspire children while, of course, having fun!
The free festival will take place at Nose Creek Park in Airdrie and will feature a children’s village play area, entertainment stage with great performances, inspiration stations to learn something new and workshops to expand knowledge.
We are also excited to announce the date for Comedy at the Bert. On March 28, 2020, we are thrilled to bring Tim Nutt and Charles Haycock to Airdrie to get us laughing and help us raise funds for our 2020 festival. Tickets will go on sale this fall.
This festival would not be possible without the generous sponsorship support from the local business community and residents.
