We aim to enrich the lives of children and celebrate cultural differences of all kinds, all for free!
There is something about parenthood that gives us a sense of history and a deeply rooted desire to see our children’s imagination and sense of curiosity grow and thrive. We want the next generation to love learning, science, art and creativity. We want them to have the tools, the acceptance and the open-mindedness to be whatever they want to be. To do anything they desire.
The universe is vast. Still we know there is so much more that is unexplored, and that we don’t know. We want children to be willing to experiment, celebrate, cultivate and grow their character. We want them to be children who thrive on connections with those who are both similar and diverse in their cultural backgrounds.

Airdrie Children’s Festival is about inspiring excellence in children. On May 26, our event will feature five distinct fun and learning components: the Children’s Village, an interactive fun and play area; the Inspiration Stations, interactive learning centres; Main Stage Entertainment featuring professional children’s entertainers and some local talent; City-Wide Workshops; and finishing off the day, an Outdoor Family Movie.
